Grandma (Previously known as: Quick Update)

My grandma stayed with us for the past few weeks and left some days ago. I hadn't seen her in awhile and my first thought as i hugged her for the first time in at least 5 or 6 years was that i remembered her being taller. I'm taller now while she's slower, grayer, and tired. I never remembered her looking so tired. The last time around, she would walk around with us and i vaguely remember Balboa Park but she broke her hips a few years ago and now she walks with a limp, we rented a wheelchair to make it easier for her to get around. The last time around she sowed up my blanket and pillow, my blanket with the sporty dinosaurs and pillow that i've had since at least first grade which kept me warm and comfortable while i woke up early (6 am!) to watch Saturday morning cartoons, the two objects being my most grounded definition of "home." were all torn and ragged but she patched them right back up. This time around they we're torn and ragged again but she couldn't patch it back up, the holes were too big and my mom threw away the pillow while i was still at school.

I would walk past and she would always be sitting and staring off, when i asked in broken mandarin Chinese if there was anything i could do for her she would smile and say she was alright.

I don't want to grow up. I just want to be a kid again/ some more/for a bit... i don't know. I'll be better a second time around. I promise.

Oh damnit.

I'm packing to go home right now, it's 1:30 AM.

Some things to note:
- I've blown through 15 minidv tapes, this semester.
- I'm packing more electronics than clothes, in fact i only have room for like 5 t shirts and 2 pairs of pants, i'm just going to buy socks from costco when i get back
- It's taken me 4 hours and counting to clean/pack, which is just sad.

Anyone of you UMass Cashin stalkers still around and want to hang out until have to go at 3:00 AM? Hit me up, i don't bite.

P.S. Same will as before. If my plane goes down and i die a death i'd rather not have to die (mainly: lonely and cold falling from the sky, or being burned alive) then norman gets to distribute my stuff. Also, i fully expect to have a viking funeral at the dino section of the san diego museum of natural history. ALSO i want the funeral preceded over by a robot priest advocating a robot revolution and the killing of all humans. ALSO! i want the soundtrack to be either Chain of Strength's "True 'Til Death" or all Muppet/Jim Henson related songs like "Movin' Right Along" by Kermit and Fozzie.

I'm serious, if i die and you all don't do this i will be SO FREAKING PISSED AND I WILL HAUNT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU.

This will be funnier when i die.

Almost home. 3 finals down, 2 to go. I've drawn robot battle scenes on most of my finals. I realized i could do that so i did.

This seems as a good of a place as any to explain why some videos are in color and some in black in white:
When the videos are in black and white it means i had to use nightvision to film the show because there was no lighting (and hey, its punk, i don't really expect lighting anyways, even if there was lighting i'm too stupid to figure out a way to make the video look good-like) so instead of a booger green hue you get black and white.
